T À I L I Ệ U LETTER
OF ALLIANCE Viet Nam, 27 October 2006 The Honorable Embassadors, We are writing to introduce you our Alliance named “Alliance for Democracy & Human Rights for Viet Nam” self-established in Viet Nam on Sep 16th, 2006. In order to realise our right to establish association, Alliance for Democracy & Human Rights for Viet Nam was publicly founded on the basic of Human right and Civil right regulated in the Declaration and Convention of United Nations. We believe that the presence of Alliance for Democracy & Human Rights for Viet Nam will speed up the progress to democratise Viet Nam and meet the need of Vietnamese People for a Nation of real Freedom and Democracy. We acknowledge that where sees Freedom and Democracy the people can be better served. Unfortunately, Viet Nam now is a stage on which The Communist Party has all right to choose actors and directs by its own way and the people are always in a state of being threatened. They just only comply with orders of the Communist Party. We consider that many current problems of Viet Nam such as backwardness, decadence and unjustness are resulting from mal-management, bureaucracy and corruption of the authorities under the present one-party regime. In order to resolve these problems, many Vietnamese have launch a struggle for transforming this regime into a plural, free, and democratic regime. Although many peaceful democratic fighters have been suspected, investigated, beaten, tortured, detained by the authorities, the movement for freedom and democracy still continues developing more popularly and strongly. On this chance, we would like to say thankful words to those who have been helping and supporting Alliance for Democracy & Human Rights for Viet Nam. We
sincerely appreciate your concern about, contribution to and your
support for our cause ! May you have good health and success.
